| Recycling: | In January 2010 the Rotary Club collected and recycled Christmas Trees for a donation in support of the Great North Air Ambulance. |

'Soldiers' Charity', the Army Benevolent Fund, held an evening of
Musicals & Proms
to 'Salute
Our Heroes'
at The Gala

| Book Launch 'Extravaganza': | On Saturday, 27th March 2010, at
an 'Extravaganza' Evening, including Dinner & a Concert, Rotarian
David Hughes and The Rotary Club of Cheser-le-Street, will be launching
David's
latest book 'My Son The Enemy' , a novel,
a work of fiction based on his Army experiences at the end of WW2. |
| Fashion Show | Ladies. Our Daughter Club, The Rotary Club of Birtley, is holding a Fashion Show on Monday, 29th March 2010, at the Parish Centre, Chester-le-Street, Co Durham.
